On 30th May 2025, the very first Khushi Ki Thali was hosted by CBN Foundation.
 It was a day filled with joy, learning, and heartfelt memories.

Honoring a Life, Feeding Young Dreams

This special event was held in loving memory of a grandfather—a dedicated veterinarian from the Kerala state government who spent his life caring for elephants. His legacy inspired not just a meal, but a meaningful experience for the children.

Film & Future Dreams

The children watched the Oscar-winning documentary “The Elephant Whisperers.” The powerful story touched young hearts and sparked conversations about animal care and conservation.

A career session followed, introducing children to veterinary science and nature-based professions. They learned about subjects to study and career paths like veterinarian, forest officer, and conservationist. Many excitedly shared, “I want to be an animal doctor!”

A Meal Made with Love

A warm, delicious meal of aloo, poori, and a ladoo (inspired by Raghu, the elephant from the film) was served. The food was freshly prepared by cloud kitchens run by local women, supporting their livelihoods in the process.

Heartfelt Thanks

To show their appreciation, the children created handmade thank-you cards filled with elephant drawings and sweet messages—a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to the day.
